Integrated Coastal Zone Management |
Programme Description
StudiesICZM focuses on coastal zone management in the Baltic Sea, features of the coastal ecosystem and factors affecting the area such as population growth, pollution and climate change. Management of natural resources, legislation and environmental governance are important parts of the curriculum.
Courses
All courses run in English and include: exciting field excursions, lectures, seminars, learning through projects, practical training (nationally and internationally) and independent work on a thesis.
Career Prospects
This programme will put you in the forefront of a multitude of career prospects. You could choose to work as a coastal planner, GIS expert, policy maker and/or environmental counsellor.
Entrance examination
All eligible applicants will receive invitations to the entrance examination. The entrance examination for the joint application is compulsory and is held 26 April 2011 in Raseborg, Finland. Results from other entrance examinations are not accepted.
